Sperry's Restaurant Belle Meade

Sperry's opened in 1974, founded by brothers Houston and Dick Thomas and named after their great grandfather, Burton W. Sperry. The original Belle Meade steakhouse, famously home to Nashville's first salad bar, is now owned by Houston's son Al Thomas and his late wife Trish. A second location opened in Cool Springs in 2006, offering the same experience with more room for private dining.
Connecting Old English heritage with the Old South, Sperry's has welcomed locals and visitors with a warm, comforting ambiance for over five decades. Our kitchens use only the finest products, from aged, heavily marbled Western beef to fresh seafood, and every dressing, soup, and sauce is made from scratch. Several are available for purchase at Sperry's Mercantile, located behind the Belle Meade restaurant and at our newest Sperry's Mercantile location in Bellevue. The menu is truly as fresh as it gets, and having you as our guest is an honor we do not take lightly.
